“At SUNY Sullivan we are building tomorrow’s green work force with course offerings in environmental studies, green building and renewable energy with dedicated courses in photovoltaic (solar electric) site assessment, system sizing, system components, installation, operation and maintenance. Our students, faculty and staff are actively supporting Solarize Sullivan and we look forward to talking with the residents and small businesses of Sullivan County at the Solarize Sullivan launch party and future Solarize Sullivan workshops.”

All around Sullivan County and into the Catskill Park we are finding new ways to enjoy the environment while protecting its natural beauty and leaving as small of an industrial impact as possible. Solar power allows anyone on these mountains, lakes and rivers to live in harmony with this unique location. It’s really the best of modern technology blended with the traditional values of the upstate New York State region.
